First, we always recommend a trip to our City Park. It’s the largest in the nation and boasts a beautiful sculpture garden (free) you can tour on land or via paddle boat. There is a wonderful spot, Morning Call, to have beignets and cafe au lait on a bayou surrounded by huge oak trees dripping with Spanish moss.
